Turbochargers Repair by STK Turbo Technik

Turbolader Reparatur We repair Turbochargers for Passenger Cars, Light and Heavy Trucks, Commercial Vehicles, Motorcycles and Boats.
STK Turbo Technik has been repairing original turbochargers for many years. The quality of our work ensures that we meet all the expectations and specifications that engine manufacturers have for repair of turbochargers. All turbochargers are built to OE and International Standards. For these reasons, it is no surprise that we have been repairing turbochargers for OE manufacturers. STK Turbo Technik has been repairing and blue-printing turbochargers for both street and race cars for many years. Since then, their experienced and competitive skills has meant that they have become the first port of call for both Car Manufacturers and Race/Rally teams alike.

A comprehensive stock of all associated wear parts is available plus new, exchange or repaired assemblies of rotor shafts and cartridges.

In addition, STK Turbo Technik has also supplied turbos for street cars, ranging from remanufactured standard units to made-to-order units for Performance/Race use. Whether you want to mildly modify your car, or compete in Rally or Track events, STK Turbo Technik can help you to choose the right turbocharger for your particular needs.

Turbocharger Preparation

Whatever turbocharger you require, in order for the unit to be reliable and to deliver consistent power, the unit has to pass stringent tests and standards throughout the repair process. One of the most important aspects is fine-balancing of all rotating parts within the turbocharger.
By balancing all rotating parts on the Piece Part Balancing Machine, we ensure that the turbocharger will pass all tests on the VSR.

Since a typical turbocharger's compressor wheel can spin between 120000 - 320000 RPM, the balancing of the complete rotating assembly is essential for reliability. Even a small inbalance can generate large centrifugal forces that will eventually cause the bearings to fail - a common cause of turbocharger failure, as this will then inevitably result in a catastrophic failure of the complete turbocharger.
